Developers panel

At our quarterly Go Medina meeting on April 20, we hosted a Developers Panel consisting of: Harry Adams (McCombs Properties), Lee Baker (The Woodlands), Harry Hausman (Hausman Holdings), and John Maberry (Forestar), with Clay Binford moderating.

All the panelists commended Medina County on being efficient and easy to work with on projects. Mr. Maberry stated that 35% of the growth in San Antonio is moving West. Mr. Adams suggested Medina County’s new slogan should be “Buckle Up!”

When asked what Medina County can do to better prepare for growth, Mr. Hausman recommended enlarging our wastewater facilities and considering a regional wastewater concept. Mr. Baker and Mr. Adams encouraged the County to keep forming strong relationships and promoting our area. Mr. Maberry stressed the importance of being proactive and dedicating time to plan as a County.

This meeting was very well attended, and we appreciated everyone’s time and efforts in making this meeting a success. Stay tuned for our next Go Medina meeting that will take place in July!
